Evergreen Oil Inc. located in Newark , California U.S.A.
 CEP is an engineering affiliate of Evergreen Oil Inc. Evergreen owns and operates a state-of-the-art re-refinery in Newark , California , approximately 30 miles south of San Francisco . This re-refinery has been continuously in operation since 1986 and utilizes both the CEP Thin Film Evaporation and Hydrotreating processes. CEP engineers provide engineering support to this plant and have also gained valuable experience in return. This close association with an operating plant, and the opportunities to develop situations in order to further improve this technology have resulted in continuous improvement in CEP’s technology for re-refining used oil.

Chemical Engineering Partners has designed and licensed our Thin Film Evaporation and Hydrotreating technology to WGI in Indonesia who has been successfully operating since 1995.
Wagga, Wagga Australia Plant
 CEP has provided its’ Thin-Film Evaporation technology to a company in Wagga Wagga, NSW Australia. This plant has been operating continuously since 2001.
Middle East Re-refining Facility
CEP has provided the licensed Thin Film Evaporation technology and engineering services to its client to produce an effective and profitable re-refining site in the Middle East.
Olein Recovery Corporation - Puerto Rico Re-refining Facility
CEP is currently working with Olein in Puerto Rico by providing the basic engineering, detailed design, material supply and technology licensing for a plant utilizing both the Thin Film Evaporation and Hydro-treating processes. This plant has is scheduled for complete start-up in 2008.
SaskAlta Base Oils Corp. - Canada Re-refining Facility
CEP is currently in the design phase of a plant near Saskatoon , Canada for SaskAlta Base Oils Corp., who is utilizing the CEP Thin Film Evaporation Technology. This plant is slated for successful completion and start-up in late 2008.
Finland Re-refining Facility
This project is in the early stages of construction and fabrication. This re-refinery will utilize both Thin Film Evaporator and Hydro-treating technology provided by Chemical Engineering Partners. This plant is slated for start-up in late 2008.
Heartland Petroleum LLC – Ohio Re-refining Facility
CEP is currently in the early design phase of this project with Heartland Petroleum LLC and will provide process technology, basic engineering and the support required to utilize CEP’s Hydro-treating process at their Ohio facility.
Evergreen’s plant in Newark , and the WGI Plant are outstanding examples of the commercial success CEP has had with this technology. CEP has helped Evergreen Oil achieve record yields and production levels, high and consistent product quality and longer production runs between shutdowns. CEP’s technology is continuously under improvement. In fact, during 2006 the Evergreen plant set records for throughput and catalyst life.
All other technologies for re-refining have shown great promise but very little commercial success. CEP’s process is the only commercially provided technology that can claim to produce API Group II base oil and that has 20 years of successful operating experience to back up the claim.
